The idea for Petsfunclub.com came about when the owner Lorraine Loughnane was in search a good quality dog bed for her home.
Lorraine had bought many over a short space of time and found quality wasnt good.
After speaking to other dog owners about the same issue, she went online and found lots but none in Ireland.
The companies in the UK who delivered to Ireland charged quiet a lot for shipping.
Having had previous experience in online marketing, travel and customer service Lorraine began researching opening an online shop for designer pet products.
As a result www.PetsFunClub.com was opened in September 2007.
Since its opening business has been brisk.
48% of business is from Ireland 31% from the UK and the remainder from Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, France and even the USA. Dog clothes and dog beds are the top selling items in Ireland.
www.PetsFunClub.com are keen on working with more Irish manufactures and hope to have a selection of Dog Clothes with are designer and made in Ireland very soon.
