• Info domains and spam

Aaron Wall recently posted about a G purge on .info domains (http://www.seobook.com/google-temporarily-purges-info-domain-names). Matt Catts has previously mentioned (http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/my-2008-predictions/) .info domains as being spammy in nature because of their cheapness to register. I was considering purchasing a few .info domains recently but I might reconsider that as there seems to be a bit of uncertainty around them Does anybody here have a high ranking .info domain? Do you think there is a prejudice against them in any shape or form from the SEs?

Yet when I check link: + my web address baggotcourt.com it only shows 3 incoming links and none of which are my own website. • SEO title tags

Working on a project at the moment that has me thinking about title tags... It's a competitive sector, and a previous SEO company did some work on the old site, and the titles are all stuffed with keywords. This is not something I am a fan of, I prefer natural looking titles which scan well for humans in SERPS, with keywords used as naturally as possible. BUT - in many competitive sectors you see page after page of keyword stuffed titles, and the site I'm working on gets quite good results, despite having very little other than the titles going for it interms of the terms it's performing for... SO... what do people think? Keyword stuffed SEO titles: * Are they good practise? * Do they perform? * Will Google eventually penalise with keyword stuffed titles? * How do keyword titles perform against more humanly readable titles? * Do you use them? Any other views?

• Social networking as an SEO tool

Hi there, I've been researching social networking as a SEO tool but even having read descriptions, definitions etc I cant seem to grasp how it works exactly. I've researched Digg, mixx, stumbleupon etc but does anyone know how to integrate them with your website? Or is this even what happens? Am I correct in saying you basically suggest a site worth looking at and post it to these social networking sites? Sorry, probably too many qtns at once. Thanks Loconor CustomerMinds.com (http://www.customerminds.com)

• Common Misspellings and SEO

Hi Everyone, As you may or may not know sometimes misspellings can be very lucrative and produce large amounts of traffic to a given website. However there is a caveat for anyone wishing to rank organically for these terms. 1.) Either place misspellings on / in your website. 2.) Use Pay Per Click Listings to appear. For me I don't like to include misspellings in: Title Tags Headings Tags Meta descriptions While on some type of websites this may be ok, I'd really like to avoid it. So what do you do to include those common problems like: One of the biggest in terms of seo in my experience is with relation to: * Accommodation* 1. accomodation 2. acommodation 3. acomodation Just to name a few.... I used to use the meta keywords tag to include a list of misspellings, however if the big G (Google), doesn't even bother to look at this (correct me if I'm wrong). Then it seems a bit pointless to include it. What's your experience / advice?
