• Google Ad Manager - anyone used it

I was wondering if anyone has used Google Ad Manager and how they have found it? I've applied to the programme but it says I may not get accepted and that it may take several weeks. I was thinking of using OpenX, but tried Openads before and found tham a bit user unfriendly. Maybe there are other ad management programmes out there that people know of?

• Yahoo Directory VS 8k Directory Submissions

I've been having a serious dilemma trying to figure out how to spend my advertising budget. Like most people I haven't got a large budget so I am trying to figure out where to spend it to get the biggest impact. I found this company that will submit my website to 8,000 directories for $250, I tried it with 1,450 Directories on another website, but I am not getting a lot of traffic. Should I just spend the $299 to get this new website into the Yahoo Directory. What's your experience?

• Hittail Anyone Used it before

I was just wondering if anyone has used this tool before? _HitTail - Long Tail Keyword Marketing Tool - SEO, SEM, PPC, Blogs (http://www.hittail.com/)_ Or heard anything about it. It makes sense, but I wonder how useful the tool itself really is, over say an Analytics package which shows you long tail terms anyway? In my experience though, long tail terms and optimising for them from an SEO perspective often gives a lower return on investment. Of course there are a few golden nuggets here and there, but sometimes (most times) you can't predict those.

• Ebay Affiliates Program Any Experience

Hi Guys, I have a website which receives a decent amount of traffic monthly globally, but primarily in Australia. I also have close to 900 active members, who I know buy regularly from Ebay. I am considering replacing some Google Text Ads to show Ebay listings targeted towards car parts these members would be interested in. Or alternatively having a page on the site dedicated to Ebay listings. I think it would world quite well, but I'm wondering what others experiences with the Ebay Affiliate Program is? Have you had much luck with it? If things work out I'd probably scrap Google Ads from my site, as they are rarely relevant enough. So far I've made a whopping $200 US off Adwords in about a year.

• Google Analytics - Adding Notes to Graphs Etc..

Does anyone know if its possible to add notes to your analytics account? What I mean is lets say I have a huge traffic spike and I want to add a comment to it, so in a years time I can reflect and see certain notes on traffic trends or lets say particular articles I wrote that attracted good traffic? Maybe a better example would be: My blog redesign attracted a huge spike in traffic compared with my normal daily traffic, if I could tag that spike as (blog redesign), I or anyone else viewing the stats would understand why the spike occured. Another webstats package I use, has this feature so I'd be surprised if its missing in Analytics, but I guess you never know. *Slightly off topic, but could we perhaps get an Analytics section in the forum? While it could go under online marketing, I think a dedicated section would be a good idea, what do others think? *
