Thousands of homes and businesses across the country are expected to turn off their lights for an hour tonight as part of the global Earth Hour campaign.
The initiative, which starts at 8.30pm, aims to reduce emissions and promote awareness of climate change.
Up to 1bn people worldwide are expected to take part.
