• Conversion Tracking Multiple Conversions - Which One Will Be Recorded

Hi Everyone, I have currently set up conversion tracking on a website with multiple goals. We have 3 separate goals in place: 1.) User Registration 2.) User Placing an AD for Free 3.) User Placing an AD with Cash Value Another words there is conversion tracking at each point. New users will need to register an account with us. This is considered a conversion with $0 value. Existing users will just login with their account. They can either sell something for Free with us, at which point conversion tracking code is placed on the "thank you" for your listing page. Or they can place a cash value ad with us which is tracked with the € value placed in a variable and sent back to Google. I am wondering which conversion will be tracked? Will it be? Only the first conversion (user sign up). Only the second value (listing an ad). Or will it track both? From memory it will only record the first conversion, but since Google recently changed it to set up multiple conversions I'm not sure.

• Quality Score - Minimum Bid for Branded Terms Ridiculous

Hi Everyone, First a bit of history we have several websites which we run PPC campaigns for. Originally the last person who ran these, did so from the same account. Eg: 3 Websites with 1 PPC account. One of the first things I did was split this into 3 separate accounts, mainly for clarity in reports, but also for conversion tracking. For a brief period of time we have not been running a campaign for 1 website. We have now decided to run a campaign, however it seems that we are scoring very low for quality score and the only reason I could see this happening is because of account history. I have made this assumption based on the following: - These are brand related terms (terms that related to our business only!). - We are using these specific terms on our website (its in our page content) including heading tags, title tags and the like. - Some of these terms are domain name related searches. Yet we have been stiffed by Google with Min Bid of €0.30 cent to €4 this is absurd. FWIW I have also used these terms in our creative text, before we were Google slapped we had a couple of conversions (high conversions). I don't see how Google makes such a judgement call, honestly I can't see how this is fair for us. (I know there is an Adwords Spider - so might double check its not being blocked). Other than that I'm stumped, any advice? I am thinking of contacting Google about this. Cheers, Gavin.

was trying out keyword spy - are the rankings that it gives ahead or behind time because if i put in a domain into the free form on the front page, it tells me it's google rank for various keywords; but they're not always right when you go to google and check them for the particular keywords (some of them are out by one or two but some of them are out by hundreds) - it seems like a good system but can anyone explain this and is it supposed to work this way thanks
